The board meetings are held once in a quarter to review and monitor the progress of
academic teaching and other matters regarding development of infrastructure and other
financial matters.

Process:
Chairman
The chairman reports to the Governing Body about the academic and administrative
affairs of the institute and seeks guidance and support for implementing major policy
decisions towards the betterment of the institute. The Chairman oversees the routine
administrative matters and guides the Principal in implementing the decisions. The
Chairman is officiating head of the purchases of the institute.
Director
The Director will be involved in overall managing, organizing and controlling various
academic as well as administrative activities for institutes. He will also be responsible for
further development including New Courses, Increases intake, foreign collaboration,
industry relation as well as consultancy projects in accordance with trusts requirements
and under the guidance of Chairman.
Principal
The Principal takes care of the academic programmes and oversees smooth
implementation of statutory policies and practices. He is the administrative head of the
institution that not only takes care of routine administration but also suggests the
developmental aspects of the institute. The Principal coordinates between the Heads of
the Departments and the Chairman.
Heads of the Department
The Heads of the Departments are responsible for smooth functioning of their
departments, keeping track of the academic programmes on weekly basis and setting
up of the workshops and the laboratories. The Heads of the Departments are
responsible for administrative aspects of their departments and are required to
periodically report to the Principal.
The Faculty
The hierarchy of the faculty members is Professor, Assistant professors, Lecturers and
Tutors. The faculties are responsible to follow the syllabi of the taught programmes,
report the progress to their respective Heads of the Departments on weekly basis,
development of the laboratories and workshops of their respective courses.
Nature and Extent of involvement of faculty and students in academic
affairs/improvements
The students have representation through the Student representative council, in all the
matters regarding teaching, hosting of various functions etc. They meet the representatives
from the staff who are allotted various committees to operate throughout the year. The
committees are made rotational so that each faculty member gets exposure to operate in all
the fields.
Mechanism/Norms & Procedure for democratic/good Governance
The faculty has individual access to the members of the management to voice their opinion
on matters of development of the institute .As the number of faculty is still limited.
Student Feedback on Institutional Governance/faculty performance
The faculty performance is adjudged with the help of a self appraisal form filled by the faculty
at the end of each year and is then adjudged by the members of the academic committee.,
who put remarks for further improvement and also counsel the faculty members .
Grievance redressal mechanism for faculty, staff and students
As the number of staff and students is still limited we follow a system of direct approach to
the principal or the management as the case may be for redressal.

VIII. Fee
